He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Richards and Dorothy Richards (Haund); and his sister Mae Haayer. He is survived by: his wife Margaret R. Kay; his children, Michael Richards (Amanda) and Vicki Oickle (Lawrence); and his grandchildren, Nena and Amanda. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; three nephews and one niece.
