He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Provost and Mary Ann Provost (LeBlanc); and his sisters, Gladys, Eileen and Theresa.
He is survived by: his children, Lawrence, Pamela Deering (Terry), Angela (Florence) and Nicole Dibbin (Louisburg); his grandchildren, Jamie, Jesse, Josh, Jillian, Matthew, Amanda and Courtney; his great grandchildren, Jessica, Ashlynn, Chloe and Parker; and his sister Priscilla MacDonald.
Memorial donations, in Elmer's memory, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
