He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbert Laing and Muriel Kirk (Lawson); his wife Jean (Thomson); his children, Mark (Gail Creaser), Andrew (Patricia) and Kara Keith (John); his grandchildren, Sian, Kiri (Hadrian Laing), Aidan, Oliver (Anne Keith) and Kateryna (Kara Laing); his sister Betty Franklin (Danny); and his half-brother Tom Kirk.
