She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hill and Nancy Hill (Sherrard); her husband Wylie Russell; her daughter Karen Ann; and her siblings, Dorothy (Fred MacTavish), Elsie (Harold Smith), Delbert and Buddy Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Rand (Lindsay), Delhaven, Lynn Ferguson (Darrell), Ann Petropolis (Chris) and Earl Russell (Alice); and her grandchildren, Wesley Rand (Carrie), Emily Rand (Reid Smith), Elaine Young (Travis), Breagh Di Carlo (Vince), Kevin Ferguson (Katherine), Shane Russell (Ashley Hong), Arielle, Theo, Zachary and Alex Petropolis. She is also survived by nine great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
