She was predeceased by: her parent James Percy; her husband George; her son Donald; and her siblings, Betty Lloyd, Joyce Durno, Shirley Smith, Erdenna Sanford and George Foster.

She is survived by: her parent Ella Eugenie Foster (Crocker); her daughter Deanna Fredericks (James) of Berwick; her sister Mazie Bligh of Berwick; and her grandchildren, Shelley Potter (Toronto), Heather Thomson (Chris) of Kentville, Greydon Potter (Karrie) of Toronto, Lyndsay Reynolds (Mike) of Kingston and Tyler Fredericks of Berwick. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
