She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dykens and Mildred Dykens (Eagles); her husband Floyd Roode; her stepson Greggory Roode; her siblings, Marlene, Ellen and James; and her sister-in-law Audrey Dykens.

She is survived by: her daughter Wanda Forrest (Robert); her stepchildren, Joanne Weir (Marshall), Patty Weir, Glenholme and Percy Murray (Marilyn) of London, ON; and her siblings, Gerry Dykens (Linda), Owen Dykens and Fern Lattie (Doug). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
