With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vivian Annie Barrett of Bedford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 27, 2023 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Vivian Annie Barrett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert MacLaurin and Marion MacLaurin (Ramsey); her husband Herman; her sister Campsie MacLean; and her brothers-in-law, Roger MacLean, Russell Anderson and Ralph MacInnis (Hank).

She is survived by: her children, Irwin, April, Herman and Faith; her granddaughters, Sarah and Laura; and her siblings, Phyllis Anderson of Moncton, NB, Mary MacInnis, Summerside and James MacLaurin (Grace) of Belmont, PEI.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made to the Bedford Baptist Church. Our family and friends in PEI can donate to the local Belmont Baptist Church.

“Aunt Vivian and Uncle Herman were so kind to attend our wedding in Ontario 43 years ago, to represent the extended Barrett family. We remember them both as loving parents, dedicated to their family and their church. Aunt Vivian was a devoted mother, carrying on in faith after the death of her beloved husband. Circumstances here on the farm prevent us from attending, however we will be making a donation to the Belmont Baptist Cemetery Fund in their memory. Sincere condolences, Fred and Margaret”
