It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Viola Brown of Bedford, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lowe and Bessie Lowe (Ernst); her husband Trevor Brown; her siblings, Eileen Nelson, Douglas and Harold; and her sister-in-law Betty Lowe.

She is survived by: her siblings, Gordon Lowe of Chester and Marguerite Little (Mike) of Port Hood; her brother-in-law Charles Nelson of Maitland; and her close friends, Marilyn DeWitt, Judy Houlihan and Trevor. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
