Sarah Hodgins Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Hodgins of Bedford, Nova Scotia, born in Belleoram, Newfoundland, who passed away on June 20, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah Hodgins to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Hardiman (Drake) and John Thomas Hardiman of Lolly Cove; and her former husband Charles Sr. Carter. She is survived by: her son John Carter; her husband William Hodgins; her granddaughter Diana Templeaars; her children, David Carter (Kelly), Viola Horton (Larry), Donna Angel (Mark) and Charles Jr. Carter (Pam); her daughter-in-law Connie Carter (Danny); and her stepchildren, Margaret Hodgins-Foutiou (Chris), Bill Hodgins (Patricia) and Carolyn Templeaars (Danny). She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, or the Cancer Society of Nova Scotia.
