He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gingras and Francois Gingras (Nee Blanchette); his wife Mimi; and his son Pierre. He is survived by: his son Robert (Lisa); his grandchildren, Harley (Austin) and Jakob (Natasha); and his great grandchild Walker.
In 1994 he joined a small group of retirees to repair and refurbish furniture with the money raised donated to the charities in and around the Bedford, Sackville and Halifax communities.
