It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mona Marion Hennessey of Bedford, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edwin Haverstock and Goldie Haverstock of Hammonds Plains; her husband Leo “Shams” Hennessey; her children, Seàn (Kelly), David (Andrea), Brenda and Audrey (Chris); her grandchildren, Evan (Jess), Sarah (Travis), Patrick (Sarah), Jack (Jane), Kate, Ali (Sean) and Liam; her great grandchildren, Halle, Bailey, Katherine and Thomas; her sister Isabel Wood (Moulton); her sons-in-law, Rick Harley and Allan Grantham; and her brother-in-law Gerald Moulton.
