He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swinimer and Ella May Swinimer (Hupman); and his brother Bill (Monica). He is survived by: his wife Doris Healey; his children, Donald of Sackville and Tanya Lively (Jeff) of Halifax; his stepchildren, Steven (Dena) of Vancouver, Paula (David) of Mahone Bay and Donna (Aaron) of Blockhouse; his grandchildren, Thomas, Stephen, Zech, Jonathan, Timothy, Naomi and Joel; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Blake and Daniel; his siblings, Marjorie McDonald (John) of Bedford and Steven (Mary) of Wilmot; and his nieces, Lisa and Debora Donald.
