He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan MacLean (Herrett); his sons, David (Melanie) and Sean MacLean; his grandchildren, Reece, Seamus MacLean, Kayli Muise, Chris, Jenn Dykstra, Glenn Greenham and Shawna White; his sister Mary Greenham; his sister-in-law Sandy Dykstra (Ray); and his great-nieces, Jo and Evie Hansen.
Don loved animals and had compassion for human suffering, if you would like to make a donation in his memory, SPCA Nova Scotia or The Sackville Area Warming Centre would have been his choices.
