He was predeceased by: his parents, John Charlton and Kathryn Charlton (Cappy). He is survived by: his wife Celia; his children, Laura (Matthew Crouse) and Andrew (Preety); his grandchildren, Alexander, Maya, Hailey Charlton and Fay Crouse; and his pets, Waffles, Maple and Witty.
