He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Alvin Frankland, Shirley and John Payzant; his cousin Tara Dawn Payzant; his siblings, Nicole Sallay (Jude) and Jett Payzant; his nephew Henry Sallay; his niece Norah Sallay; his grandmother Katheleen Frankland (Canfield); his aunts, Lisa Frankland and Paula Stokdijk (Jonathon); his cousin Hannah; his uncles, Jim Payzant (Pat), Larry Payzant (Charlene) and Jeff Payzant (Nancy); and his aunt Elizabeth Pearce (Robert).

He is survived by: his parents, Andrew Payzant and Tanya Payzant (Frankland) of Bedford, NS.; and his cousins, Rob Payzant, Jamie Payzant, Darren Payzant, Michael Payzant, Matthew Payzant, Mark Payzant, Sarah De Putter, Jason Rockwell, Laura Powell, Amanda Doncaster, Jessica Burton, Samantha Sears and Benjamin Rockwell.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel (125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2R3). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 10:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
