Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alan Broomhead of Bedford, Nova Scotia, born in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 83, on May 9, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Broomhead and Elizabeth Broomhead (Jones); and his siblings, Isabelle, Edna, Thomas, Elizabeth (Terry Gallagher), Patricia (Doug Ball) and Ernest (Jean).

He is survived by: his significant other Zelée Broomhead (Harrington); his daughters, Andrea (Kevin Briand) and Leslie (Wayne MacIntyre); and his grandchildren, Sarah Briand (Matt Trace), Kathryn Briand (Robbie Walker), Jessica Briand (Jeff Goodwin) and Kenzie MacIntyre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
