William Ignatius MacIntyre Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ignatius MacIntyre of Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Catherine Smith, Ann Sharon MacIntyre, Joseph MacIntyre and Duncan MacIntyre. He is survived by: his parents, William Ignatius MacIntyre and Margaret MacIntyre (Keylor); his wife Andrea (Beaton); his sons, Billy Beaver Bank (Erin), Stephen Sackville (Mandy), Ian Milford (Allison) and Conor Beaver Bank (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Ryan, Nicolas, Katie, Claire, Will, Anna Maria, Carter, Addison, Keylor and Lenna; his siblings, Mary Lou Johnson Halifax (Roger), Roy MacIntyre Vancouver (Beverly), Margie Theakston Halifax (John) and Rachel Houlihan Halifax (Ron); and his sister-in-law Noel MacIntyre. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Atlantic Funeral Home Sackville Chapel (125 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville, NS B4C2R3). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Vianney Church (4 Beaver Bank Rd, Lower Sackville, NS B4E1G3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beacon House Food Bank in Lower Sackville.
