It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Allan Sutherland (Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia), born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 18, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan MacVicar and Margaret Sutherland (Fiset); his wife Theresa; and his sons, Dennis and Allan.
He is survived by: his friend Wendy; his daughters, Mary (John), Port Hawkesbury, Joan (Stephen), Antigonish, Paula and Fall River; his grandchildren, Lacey of Slave Lake, Erica (Mark) and Debert; his great grandchildren, Danica and Lucas; and his siblings, Camilla Dickie of Oxford, Chester (Marilyn), Glace Bay, Elwood and Arthur (Jessie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the War Amps or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
