Cora Muriel (Gilby) Sampson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cora Muriel (Gilby) Sampson of Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 20, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Purl Gilby and Ruby Gilby (Hill); her husband Ray; her siblings, Lloyd, Elmer, Aubrey Gilby and Bernice Gillis; and her brothers-in-law, Russell Moore, Cyril Powell, John Gillis and Cyril Lively.

She is survived by: her sons, Ross, Alan (Judy) and Rick; her grandchildren, Jeff, Adam, Mitch, Caitlin, Ashley and Calvin; her sisters, Thelma Lively, Doreen Powell (Clyde), Sylvia Moore (Richard) and Joyce Hull (George); and her sisters-in-law, Lauretta Gilby and Phyllis Gilby. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
