With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan John Wade (Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 13, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brother Frank. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Wade (Walker); his daughters, Heather Hewins (Ed), Kentville, Michelle Wade (Brian Colborne), Shannon Wade (David MacDonald) and Halifax; his stepchildren, Natalie Higgins of Dartmouth and Andrew Higgins (Cheri) of Beaver Bank; his grandchildren, Lucas, Benjamin Hewins, Mac, Abby MacPhee, Zoë MacDonald and Kyle Chisholm; his nephew Mark Wade; his siblings, Raymond, Robert, June, Carol, Dianne, Sharon and Gail; and his sisters-in-law, Carol, Patricia, Theresa and Betty.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
