It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valerie Darlene Richard (Bear River, Nova Scotia), who passed away on July 25, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Cress and Annie Cress (Stewart) of Bear River, NS.; and her brother Wayne. She is survived by: her husband Charles (Charlie); her daughter Wendy (Elizabeth) of Bear River; her grandsons, Logan and Shane of Clementsport; her siblings, Beverly of Cornwallis, Becky (Bob) of Bear River and Mark (Niki); her son Sam Morse of Truro, NS; and her sisters-in-law, Niki, Louisiana, Charlie and Acadian. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that a donation may be made in Val's memory to VON, Canadian Cancer Society, or World Vision.
