She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Wheelhouse and Gladys Wheelhouse (Purdy); her husband Robert; her son Daniel; her foster son Otis Potter; and her siblings, Jean Ferguson, Purdy and Bliss.

She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Darlene Potter of Bear River; her siblings, Phyllis Read of Bear River and James Wheelhouse of Cape Breton; her siblings-in-law, Roy Ferguson and Myrtle Wheelhouse; her granddaughter Brenda Potter of Clementsvale; and her great grandchild Calista Potter (Dylan Pettipas) of Deep Brook.

Donations in memory of Helen may be sent to the Clementsvale Baptist Cemetery or the Bear River New Horizons Club.
