She was predeceased by: her parent Ross Penney; her husband Noble Stewart; her son Gary Stewart of Ronald Stewart; and her sisters, Hulda Goodwin and Patricia Nickerson.

She is survived by: her parent Margaret Penney (Smith); her children, Carl Stewart (Karen), Augusta Stewart (Clifton Sears), Patricia Stewart, Dana Stewart (Joyce), Lois Anne Newell and Dwayne Stewart; and her siblings, Lois Atkinson (Hubert), Charles Penney (Sandra), David Penney (Sheila) and Martha Lynch (Morris). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
