He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Newell and Beatrice Newell. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son Lanny; his sister Kathy (Chris); his niece Becky (Dougie); his stepsons, Titus (Nicole) and Jordan; his stepgranddaughters, Addyson and Brooklynn; his parents-in-law, Parnell and Frank Goodwin; his pets, Eli, Rufus, Abby, Sugar and Bubby; and his brother Co-Op.

Due to Covid-19 restriction, seating may be limited and social distancing guidelines must be followed (Immediate family will be given priority for seating).

Memorial donations may be made to the new or old Newellton Cemetery or any charity of choice.
