He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew and Evelyn; his brother Sidney; his brother-in-law Carman; and his nieces and nephews, Sidney Jr., Dwayne, Andrea and Teresa.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his sons, Wendell (April), Charles (Kim), Todd (Shawna) and Ian (Cora); his siblings, Linda and Bradford; and his sisters-in-law, Leota and Betty. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
