Walter Nickerson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Walter Nickerson of Barrington Passage, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Nickerson and Maude Nickerson (Malone); his wife Marion Joyce (Perry); his siblings, Leslie, Gloria (Robie), Olive, Florence, Eleanor, Ruth and Iline; his children, Leland Nelson and Donna; and his granddaughter Tara-Lea.

He is survived by: his siblings, Mary (Robert), Reta (Lenny), Barbara (Laurie), Joyce (Terry) and Herbert (Linda); his children, Lillian (Guy) and Leslie (Donna); and his grandson Jason (Julia). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren, along with many special nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be a family graveside committal at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to VON or the Rosalin Nickerson Care Fund.
