He was predeceased by: his parents, Condon Nickerson and Geneva Nickerson; and his brothers, Melbourne Nickerson, Oliver Nickerson and Earle Nickerson.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Nickerson; his daughters, Dianne Symonds (Kirk), Lisa Nickerson (Michael), Paula Nickerson (Johann) and Kimberly Hallett (Steve); his grandchildren, Tamara Locke (Jason), Patrick Symonds (Jacqueline), Benjamin Nickerson (Alexa), Ethan Nickerson (Savana), Nicholas Nickerson (Erin), Jenna Nickerson (Dan), Jared Hallett (Hannah) and Tayler Hallett; his great grandchildren, Aidan, Reid, Evan, Ally, Addison, Madilyn and Jacob; and his brother Clifford Nickerson (Velma). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, Canadian Cancer Association, Woods Harbour Calvary Baptist Church or any charity of choice.
