She was predeceased by: her parents, Nema and Frank; her husband Vincent "Tom" Goreham; and her grandson Billy Jack. She is survived by: her children, Robert (Amanda), Fred (Marla), Janet (Bruce), Cindy (Rodney) and Sheryl (Donnie); and her brothers, Malcolm Stoddard and Martin Stoddard (Wanda). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity that Nellie often donated to, Juniper House, Yarmouth, or any other women's shelters.
