He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hirtle and Irma Smith of The Hawk; and his siblings, Charlotte Newell Centerville (Clifford), Mabel Holmes, Musquodoboit, Merve (Betty), Sonny Halifax (Brenda), Kent, Julia Chase (Gerald), Nellie Smith (Burnley) and Bonnie Foster of Dyersburg, TN.. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
