He was predeceased by: his parents, Angus Dauphney and Laura Dauphney (MacAskill); his sister Barbara Ann Dauphney; and his brothers-in-law, Gordie McNeil and Duane Curry.

He is survived by: his special lady Minnie Noseworthy; his son Kevin Keigan (Claire) of Baddeck; his siblings, Lila McNeil of Big Baddeck, Sheila Dauphney of Florence, Joan Dauphney of St. Catharines, ON, George (Kathy) of South Haven, Angus "Buddy" (Cathy) of Middle River and Gordon of Ajax, ON; and his pets, Molly and Lucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
