She was predeceased by: her parents, John Murray and Bertha Clara MacIntosh (Dixon); her husbands, James Byron "Jim" MacIntosh and Duncan Gillis; and her siblings, Jenny, Doris, Eileen, Charlie, Frank and Eddie.

She is survived by: her sister Vivian Winsor. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
