She was predeceased by: her parent Lloyd Leslie; her husband Joseph; her daughters, Betty and Carol; her son-in-law Gordon Crouse; and her sister Hilda.
She is survived by: her parent Lois Mammie Aker (Best); her children, JoAnn Rafuse (Brian) of Burlington, Cindy Mapplebeck (Doug Fitzpatrick) of Bedford, Sidney of Whites Lake, Lloyd (Lauranne) and Truro; her brothers, John Aker (Freda) of Coldbrook and Leslie Aker (late Carol) of Kentville; and her son-in-law Mike Smith. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
