He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Speelman and Jaapje Speelman; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Reinie; his children, Joanne, Rose Horsnell (Bill), Renee Gerrits (Bernard), Jan and John; and his brother Hans (Atie). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Memorial donations in Jan's memory may be made to the Aylesford Baptist Church.
