It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Pitts of Avonport, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wasson and Marjorie Wasson (Boyd); her husband Richard; her son David; and her sister Madonna.
She is survived by: her grandson Alex; her daughters, Yvonne Vaughan (Dale) of Lockhartville, Amanda Pitts of Avonport and Tammy Caldwell (Mike) of Lockhartville; and her brothers, Earl Wasson (Doreen) and Gilbert Wasson (Louise). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
