She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace MacDonald and Alice MacDonald (Mitchell); her husband Bruce; her grandson Peter; her siblings, Colonel Bill MacDonald (Yvonne), Betty MacKenzie (Alex) and Joan Sutherland; and her sister-in-law Audrey MacDonald.
She is survived by: her children, Steven (Debbie), Mary of Halifax and Peter of Glenelg; her grandchildren, Colin (Alice), Kari, Eryn and Kelsie (Suhail); her great grandchild Mikhail; her brothers, Grant, Earle (Sharron) and Ralph; and her brother-in-law Alex Sutherland. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
