It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Ann Poirier of Arichat, Nova Scotia, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Michael and Madeline Lillian Power (Wilson); her husband Joseph James Poirier; her son Paul Poirier (Diane); her siblings, Ronnie Power (Shirley) and Alma Poirier (Arthur); her nieces, Lisa Poirier and Linda McIsaac; and her sister-in-law Florence Power.

She is survived by: her close friends, Julia Cordeau, Helen Burns and Joe Rogerson; her children, Debra Molloy (Gordon), Sharon Babin (Blair), Andrea Maltby (Paul) and Michel Poirier (Heather) of Riverview, N. B.; her grandchildren, Shawn Molloy (Cindy), Alanna Molloy (Daniel Picard), Rocky Babin (Tanya Cotie), Tyler Babin (Renée), Megan Maltby (Stéphane Roy), Ashley Kidney (Alex) and Jack Poirier; her great grandchildren, Ashton and Ayden Babin; her brother Joseph Power (Camphill Site); her nieces, Rosalind, Joann, Angela, Marlene, Susan, Deirdre and Rhonda; and her nephew George.
