She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hearn and Valerie Hearn (Petitpas) of Rocky Bay; her husband Kenny; and her parents-in-law, Barbara and Gerald Burgess.
She is survived by: her children, Lee Anne Martell (Earle), Rocky Bay, Ken Burgess (Angela), Estevan, Sask, Tracey Bowness (Robert) and Jennifer Forgeron (Steven); her siblings, Betty Burgess, Mildred Doyle (Leonard) and Jack Hearn (Ann) of Janvrin's Island; her godmother Gemma Poirier; and her godson Shane Doyle.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Nova Scotia) or to St. Martha's Palliative Care in Antigonish.
