He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Richard and Melrose Delora Giles (Preeper); his wife Evangeline Mary Giles (Burke); and his siblings, John, Burton, Ronald, Fred, Edith, Jean, Jessie, Nettie and Pearl.
He is survived by: his children, Verta Martell, Ron (Jane), Bedford, Ernie and Michael (Cory); his grandchildren, Colin, Kelly, Adam, Lauren, Quinn, Liam, Jenna and Devin; and his great grandchild Seth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made to the Strait Richmond Palliative Care Society or to the charity of one's choice.
