He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his stepchildren, Donalda Rooyakkers (Martin), Charlotte MacDonald (Jason), Alberta and Bradley MacDonald (Cindy); his stepgrandchildren, Katrina Rooyakkers and Dawson MacDonald; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Myles and Linus; his siblings, Deborah Phillips (James) of Grand Anse, Audrey MacRae (Daniel) of Grand Anse, Dundee of Grand Anse, Sheila Matthews (Wayne) of Grand Anse, Colleen Matthews of Grand Anse, Clarissa Matthews (Bernard), Brenda Iaboni (Dominic), Barb Pontes (Joseph), Vince Burke (Marian) of Grand Anse, Terry Matthews (Sharon) of Grand Anse, Timberley of Grand Anse, Thomas Matthews of Grand Anse, River Bourgeois of Grand Anse, Hubert Matthews West Bay (Harriette) of Grand Anse, Lawrence Matthews of Grand Anse, Dougald Matthews of Grand Anse and Martin Matthews (Paulette) of Grand Anse; and his close friend Francis King. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
