He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Patrick and Mary Mury (David). He is survived by: his brother Benny Mury; his nephews, Lawrence and Wayne; and his great-nephews, Avery, Rafe and Wyatt.

Due to Covid-19 and social distancing, a private family graveside service will be held at a later date in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in West Arichat.
