Gerald Melanson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Melanson of Arcadia, Nova Scotia, who passed away on June 27, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Melanson and Hélène Melanson (Muise); and his siblings, Lawrence Melanson (Elizabeth Melanson), Lena Deveau (Rosalie Doucette), Alma Surette, Isabelle Vacon, Vince Melanson (Louis Meanson) and Emilienne Bourque.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Melanson (Muise); and his children, Fred Melanson (Albertine), Cape Breton, Mike Melanson (Melony), Cindy Doucette (Tom), Bev Melanson, Dean Melanson and Daren Melanson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to the Tri-County Site of the VON or to St. Anne's Church Building Fund.
