He was predeceased by: his parent Rita Margaret Benoit (Durant); and his stepfather Peter Benoit. He is survived by: his significant other Ruth Richard; his siblings, Sylvia Benoit (Dean Byard), Elizabeth MacDonald (Wayne) of Piedmont and Robert Benoit (Charlene) of Camrose, AB; and his aunt Jessie Durant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
