He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry MacLean and Janet MacLean (MacGillivray) of Ohio; and his siblings, Mary Catherine MacKenzie, Evangline Maas and John Richard (Veronica).
He is survived by: his sisters, Anita, Sanderine MacPherson and Nancy Antigonish; and his brother-in-law Frank Maas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
