He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Bowles and Vera Bowles (Sweeney); and his siblings, James (Alder River), David (Dunmore), Francis (Pomquet River), Vincent (Dunmore), Evelyn "Dolly", Donna Mansfield (Roger), Harold, Brian, Mary and Theresa.
He is survived by: his wife Anna; his children, Joey (Jess), Susie (Mack) and Alta; and his grandsons, Brandon and Liam.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the C. L. Curry Funeral Home (135 College St, Antigonish, NS B2G1X9).
In Memoriam, donations may be made to the Tom McNeil Cancer Patient Care Fund under the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation.
