Velautham Karunakaran Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velautham Karunakaran (Antigonish, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 9, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Velautham and Sugirtham; and his siblings, Jeya, Savaji and Manoharan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Antoinette (PJ) and Émilie (Dan); his close friend Ursula; his grandson Saul (Ursula); his great grandchildren, Tony (Tea) and Natasha; his siblings, Harichandran (Chandi), Vimala, Gnana (Andrew) and Mahendran (Susan Indira); and also, Lora (Mark), Lucas and Aden.
Later during the pandemic, he offered his extensive experience to support his colleagues with their online, courses.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at St Martha's Regional Hospital.
