He was predeceased by: his parents, John Delorey and Mary Alice Delorey (Wallace); his wife Shirley; his daughter Beverly O'Brien; his son-in-law Ken McGrath; his siblings, Anthony, Francis, Leonard (Florence), Russell, Sadie MacDonald (Anthony) and Anne Delorey; and his brothers-in-law, Otto Kreuzpaitner and Frankie Benoit.

He is survived by: his sons, John Thomas (Valerie) and Rob (Alberta); his grandchildren, Jamie (Vicky), Jodi (Jason), Drew, Devin (Marissa), Melissa (Lee), Brian (Robyn), Bradley (Celee) and Kenneth; and his sister-in-law Theresa Delorey. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; sisters.
