He was predeceased by: his parents, Lavin Pettipas and Josephine Pettipas (LeVangie); his son Bruce; his siblings, Donnie, Eddie and Ruth Mattie; and his brother-in-law Gilbert.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Kinney); his son Mark (Elaine); his grandchildren, Lacey Benoit (Chad), Cape Jack and Zachary (Kristen); his great grandchildren, Madelyn Benoit, Cape Jack and Amelia Pettipas; his daughter-in-law Michelle Mahoney; his stepgrandsons, Jonathan Warner (Max Turner) and Brandon Warner (Taylor Cormier); his siblings, Sally Sampson, Jean Sampson (Howard), Bobby Pettipas (Gertie) and Mabel Fougere; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Pettipas and Hazel Pettipas.
Valid proof of vaccination and photo ID is required for both visitation and funeral, and masks are mandatory.
Memorial Donations may be made to the Antigonish Town and County Palliative Care Society or the Canadian Red Cross.
