He was predeceased by: his parents, James Mahoney and Sarah Mahoney (MacGillivray); and his brothers, William, Eddy, Anthony, Danny and Thomas Joseph (Anne).
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mahoney (DeWolfe); his daughter Nicole DeWolfe; his grandson Kellan Bollig; his siblings, Mary Lukeman (Gerard) and Jimmy (Liz); and his sisters-in-law, Jeanette, Stephens, Karen and Mary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
