He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edmund Broussard and Mary Virginia Broussard (Muise); his wife Marie; his children, Mary Myette (Curtis), Edmund (Loretta), Christina MacKay (Kevin) and Pauline Mason (David); his sisters, Julie Broussard and Shirley MacDonald (Stewart Robertson) of Pomquet; his sisters-in-law, Isabel and Therese Broussard of Pomquet; his grandfather Simon; and his siblings, Carol, Anne, Margaret, Theresa, Josephine and Joe. He was also cherished by his 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
