He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilus Keay and Bernice Keay (Rogers); and his niece Shana Keay. He is survived by: his wife Joann Keay (MacIntosh); his daughter Jessica Melanson (René); his grandchildren, Jase and Elise Melanson; his siblings, Gary of Vancouver, BC, Clinton (Lisa), Jimmy Antigonish (Lindsay) and Rosemary MacDougall (Hughie); and his parents-in-law, Bill and Bertha MacIntosh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; Joann's brothers and sisters, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
